“Lights of Manhattan: New York Pulse” transports us directly into the heart of the world’s most energetic metropolis, seen through the expressive lens of the artist Liong. Created with premium acrylic on a 100 x 70 cm canvas, this artwork brilliantly captures the undeniable atmosphere of New York City right after a heavy summer downpour. With its raw energy and cinematic perspective, it stands as an exceptional choice for modern living rooms, executive offices, or urban lofts, infusing the space with a cosmopolitan vibe.

Dominated by the iconic yellow cab in the foreground, the composition leads the eye along a wet asphalt street, painted with bold white and silver reflections that perfectly mimic glistening puddles. The avenue is framed by towering, detailed architectural shapes in earthy, terracotta, and deep grey tones, all anchored by Liong’s signature heavy black outlines. Glowing streetlamps, distant traffic, and a massive illuminated billboard reading “NY” on the right capture the relentless motion and neon allure of Times Square, effortlessly bridging urban expressionism with a contemporary pop-art edge.
